Hard work and fun paying off !!
This week we were offered a free neighbouring greenhouse and all the contents. This turned out to be a treasure trove of useful tools, trays and a tin full of packets of seeds. Cassie, Dave Kate & Richard cleared the greenhouse and began to dismantle it.

It was a beautifully sunny day at the allotment. The sweet peas have started to come up along with the broadbeans and salad. Cassie and Dave cleared the huge clumps of grass and bits of plastic from some of the old beds and we dug up a few tough perennial weeds Max and Julia then covered the beds with cardboard and lovely compost which Max fetched in a wheelbarrow from one of the compost bins donated by a neighbour. After a tidy up it’s beginning to look good. We haven’t lost the plot, we’ve found it!
