East Hampshire, 2 – James Hogan & Ian James
Havant, 1 – Grainne Rason
New Forest, 3 – Neil Millington, Adam Parker & Janet Richards

Winchester, 2 – Danny Lee & Malcolm Wallace

Katherine Barbour wins in Portswood, Southampton What this surely shows is that people, more than ever before, are thinking about their local and surrounding environment.
Woodlands, wildlife, areas of beauty and the countryside in general have gone down the priority list through bad decisions made by majority Parties.
Climate Change no longer is an issue a long way from home, it is affecting us locally.

Here in Winchester, we have visited many homes and it’s very clear that concerns are for local issues such as badly thought out policies on new homes, pollution in our Rivers, insufficient leisure facilities, the decreasing number of bus services cutting peoples access to work and shops which in turn leads to more cars on the road, plus a deep want for Politicians to speak for them and not for their Party.

east hampshire

Beating the cold weather – East Hampshire Greens out and about Hampshire is one of the most beautiful parts of the Country; the New Forest, the South Downs National Park are gems and need protected more than they are, but we’re not just about rural, Katherine Barbour by winning Portswood in Southampton shows our message reaches to all areas and communities.
Word has got round that Green Party Councillors have an independent voice ! We still have a mountain to climb, but we’re now out of Base Camp and heading towards greater things.
