The Restore Nature Now march, London

nature hasn’t a voice of it’s own – but we have

Saturday 22nd.June was a day to remember, over 60,000 people turned up in London to march from Hyde Park to Parliament Square to ensure the newly elected Government know that time is running out.
Nature is wonderful, but doesn’t have a voice of it’s own to say we are on the brink of an environmental disaster.

The outline was to to call upon all politicians to get behind action for nature in a legal, peaceful and family friendly way.
Without a doubt, this proved to be the case with the streets of London being filled with colour and having the feel of togetherness no matter what organization they may be representing.

In Parliament Square a host of well known figures gave speeches and a nice touch during the procedings was a Peregrine Falcon circling Big Ben !

All in all a great day out with a purpose, a voice which nature itself cannot give. Let’s hope our new Government takes this message seriously and puts forward positive and remedial plans to put things right.
