Also standing as candidate for Bishop's Waltham in the Hampshire County Council Election
I moved to Bishop's Waltham from Ashford in Kent just over three years ago.
My work experience is Advertising, Retail Marketing and Railway Management.
In 2000 downshifted to a self-reliant lifestyle using my then large Garden to grow Organic Vegetables, keeping up to 30 Chickens (all rescued Battery Hens) and making it all as wildlife friendly as possible.
Through my website I managed to co-ordinate the rescue of quite a few thousand Battery Hens and in 2012 cycled from John O'Groats to Land End raising money to purchase over 150 Containers for their collection from Farms.
In the summer I worked as Players Dressing Room Attendant for all home matches with Kent County Cricket Club.
I am passionate about wildlife and nature and have seen the terrible demise in population of many creatures caused by poor agricultural policies, loss of habitat, woodland and climate change.
Being a keen walker and Wildlife Photographer has given me the pleasure of speaking to many people and to hear the many issues and concerns we have.
The population of Bishop's Waltham is growing rapidly. All local residents welcome new families to the Village but this is obviously putting a strain on the roads and public facilities and must be addressed. Road noise, pollution and safety are a priority issue along with ensuring local business's are supported and our Countryside is maintained and improved where needed.
Our Village, our County, our Country and Planet are in urgent need of environmental change and putting wrongs to rights. We must act now and the Green Party are the Party who will do just that, our many Councillors around the Country have been extremely successful in changing things for the good. Let's turn Winchester Green.
