A big thank you to the people of Winchester for getting involved for the common good and helping our campaign to get a pedestrian crossing on Romsey Road at St James Terrace/Clifton Terrace. A huge 253 people signed our petition in just 2 hours, with many more signing online. The road is on the direct route from the train station to and from the University, hospital, and many local businesses. It is extremely dangerous to cross, especially in rush hour, where we had people literally queuing up to sign.
Do you believe there should be a pedestrian crossing too? Get involved by signing our petition online at:
Thank you!
